PRINCESS LOMITA and PATH TO GLORY lost one length. STAR VEGA was selected for the taking of specimens for analysis. OVER THE LIMIT raced wide throughout and was hanging in, in the straight. LITTLE AUDREY raced wide on the bend. STAR VEGA raced wide into the straight, was hanging in in the straight, and shifted in shortly before the finish carrying SPAM ALERT inwards. At approximately the 200m OVER THE LIMIT became cramped for galloping room on the inside of STAR VEGA, which resulted in LITTLE AUDREY becoming cramped for galloping room and having to ease. SPAM ALERT and LIQUID IRISH over-raced in the early stages. Jockey de Melo reported that he felt something amiss with PRINCESS LOMITA in running and as a result eased his mount out the Race at approximately the 150m. In view of the performances of OVER THE LIMIT and SALIMAH, the Veterinary Surgeon was requested to examine these horses. LITTLE AUDREY raced without cheek pieces. Vet: PRINCESS LOMITA, SALIMAH and OVER THE LIMIT - nothing obvious detected.
