THE STARTER REPORTED: a) KINGS ARCHER (*C F Dicken) was slow into stride. b) SOLDIER ON (*P Mxoli) was slow losing two lengths. THE STIPENDIARY STEWARDS REPORTED: a) After being encouraged forward from a wide draw, CREATION raced without cover which resulted in him proving difficult to settle. Following this geldings run on the 20th of August 2020, Trainer A G Laird was advised that CREATION'S future performances would be monitored due to his inconsistent form. The Board was of the opinion that today's performance against stronger opposition was acceptable. However Trainer Laird was advised that CREATION'S future performances would continue to be monitored. Trainer A G Laird was requested to report back to the Board on the condition of this gelding on return to stables. b) DAN THE LAD (S Khumalo), the winner, was selected for the taking of specimens for analysis.
