THE STARTER REPORTED: a) MELCHIZEDEK (M Thackeray) was slow losing one length. b) MK'S PRIDE (W Kennedy) was restless in the stalls. c) SERENITY (*J Gates) jumped awkwardly leaving the stalls which resulted in this filly losing four lengths. Trainer A Azzie was advised to re-school this filly prior to her next engagement. THE STIPENDIARY STEWARDS REPORTED: a) A race review was called into the start of this race and it was established that SERENITY in stall gate 9 threw her head into the adjacent stall shortly before the start was effected. The Handler allocated to SERENITY corrected this filly's stance in the stalls as the front gates opened. The Board deemed this incident to be horse error and therefore declared SERENITY a runner. b) SERENITY (*J Gates) jumped a patch at the 250m. c) MK'S PRIDE (W Kennedy), the winner, was selected for the taking of specimens for analysis. Trainer P A Peter advised (AH). JOCKEY CHANGES: None. RACE CARD CHANGES / OTHER: a) AFTER HOURS raced with a tongue tie on (declared 23 September 2020 at 09H04).
