MR MODEL proved very stubborn loading. Subsequently CHAPEL ROCK BROKE open the front gate, was restrained by the rider and the front gate was reset. These incidents caused a delay to the start of this Race. The starting stalls certificate for this colt has been withdrawn. CHAPEL ROCK broke open the front gate. Trainer Francis was advised to re-school this gelding prior to its next engagement. TABLOID TRUTH lost 3 lengths. Trainer Binda to be advised to re-school this colt prior to its next engagement. In view of the Starter's report with regard to MR MODEL, this colt was suspended for a period of 7 days and until such time as it proves tractable loading into the starting stalls. MR MODEL may not be presented for repassing during this period. TUMBLING STREAM over-raced in the early stages and thereafter Jockey Maujean reported that he felt something amiss with this gelding in running. HAKEEM (AUS) was selected for the taking of specimens for analysis. TABLOID TRUTH raced equipped with alumite shoes in front, unshod behind. ROMEO'S REVENGE raced equipped with a tongue tie. Vet: TABLOID TRUTH - not striding out both front. TUMBLING STREAM - examined post race, nothing obvious detected.
