The start of this Race was delayed due to the delay in the previous race. VIVIENNE BLUE refused to jump. The starting stalls certificate for this filly has been withdrawn. I AM TITANIUM jumped outwards. SERENE COUNTESS, JUJUBE and SPEAK SOON were slow into stride. In view of the Starter's report with regard to VIVIENNE BLUE, this filly was suspended for a period of 7 days and until such time as it proves tractable. VIVIENNE BLUE may not be presented for repassing during this period. Approaching the 400m, SERENE COUNTESS was awkwardly placed between FIJI WINTER and BRIGHTON BELLE. Thereafter, at approximately the 300m, SERENE COUNTESS had to steady when awkwardly placed between BRIGHTON BELLE and I AM TITANIUM, which shifted out away from the crop. Jockey Bester, the rider of I AM TITANIUM, appeared before the Board, was shown the patrol film of the race and advised to keep his mounts on a straight course in future. DAME KELLY was selected for the taking of specimens for analysis. I AM TITANIUM raced equipped with alumite shoes in front, unshod behind. Vet: FRONT CLUB - abnormal respiratory noise. Scratched: HOT TALENT - Stewards permission. RENDEZVOUS - sore back. The course farrier on duty did not report there to be anything amiss with the shoes fitted to the horses that raced at today's race meeting. The passports of all the runners that raced at today's race meeting were checked and their identities, AHS and Equine Influenza vaccinations confirmed.
