The start of this Race was slightly delayed due to the previous Race delay. BYPASS and KAPEN PRIDE lost one length. TURF CONQUEROR and SPICE ROADS were slow into stride. VESTED INTEREST was squeezed out shortly after the start. KALI'S CHAMP was selected for the taking of specimens for analysis. TIME TRAVEL shifted in shortly after the start resulting in ROY'S PIANO being cramped and eased. Jockey Samuel, the rider of TIME TRAVEL, appeared before the Board with regard to this incident and was advised to take more care when shifting ground in races in future. TURF CONQUEROR shifted out near the 400 metre mark resulting in TIME TRAVEL being steadied. KAPEN PRIDE raced green. Jockey Sturgeon reported VESTED INTEREST was not striding out freely in running and as a result he did not persevere with his ride in the closing stages. TIME TRAVEL raced without cheek pieces. Vet: VESTED INTEREST - not striding out right fore. The course farrier on duty did not report there to be anything amiss with the shoes fitted to the horses that raced at tonight's race meeting. The passports of all the runners that raced at tonight's race meeting were checked, identities, AHS and Equine Influenza vaccinations confirmed.
