KATIES JAY jumped awkwardly losing one length and thereafter was slow into stride. GOOD GRACE jumped awkwardly losing one length and thereafter was slow into stride. In view of the performance from TONYA, the Veterinary Surgeon was requested to examine the filly on her return to the unsaddling enclosure and submit a report. Jockey Zechner reported that PINT POT compounded in the home straight, and in view of the filly performance, the Veterinary Surgeon was requested to examine the filly on her return to the unsaddling enclosure and submit a report. WANING CRESCENT and TONYA were tightened for galloping room, which resulted in TONYA being forced to ease and WANING CRESCENT becoming cramped for galloping room for a number of strides. Thereafter PETTY OFFICER clipped the heels of TONYA passing the 1000m. KATIES JAY was selected for the taking of specimens for analysis. Vet: TONYA - returned not striding out and fatigued. PINT POT - inspected post race and no obvious abnormalities were detected. RED GINGER - returned cut on the right fore.
