IMPERIAL PAST stood losing four lengths. The Starting Stall Certificate for this gelding has been withdrawn. JUST AN AFFAIR lost one length. The Stipendiary Board called a race review into the start of this race and established that IMPERIAL PAST had not been impeded by a Handler, the gate had opened timeously and therefore declared this gelding to be a runner. Jockey Delpech reported that IMPERIAL PAST made an abnormal respiratory noise in running. In view of the Starter's report with regard to IMPERIAL PAST, this gelding was suspended for a period of 7 days and until such time as it proves tractable jumping on terms from the stalls. IMPERIAL PAST may not be presented for repassing during this period. Leaving the 800m, ARTAX had to steady when awkwardly placed on the outside of JUST AN AFFAIR, which was carried out by HYPERACTIVE, which rolled out. In the concluding stages, IN THE GAME was awkwardly placed between IMPERIAL PAST and SOUND CLOUD. Jockey Chambers, the rider of WELLSPRING, accidentally dropped his crop at the 200m. Approaching the 150m, ARTAX was carried out by JUST AN AFFAIR, which shifted out away from the crop and was immediately straightened. HYPERACTIVE was selected for the taking of specimens for analysis. WELLSPRING raced with a tongue tie on. Vet: IMPERIAL PAST - abnormal respiratory noise. WELLSPRING - mouth injury. MOONEY - abrasions left front knee. Scratched: JET SAILOR - off feed and suspected viral infection.
