BANKERS BLUES lost one length. FICTICIOUS flyjumped leaving the stalls. Leaving the 200m, LAST GIRL STANDING and MINNESOTA became unbalanced when awkwardly placed on the outside of SNOW IN SEATTLE, these horses were tightened for galloping room when carried out by both WOTTAHOTTIE, which was hanging out, and FORT INFINITY, which shifted out away from the crop. The Stipendiary Board called a race review into this incident which was followed by Trainer Erasmus lodging Objections against both the first placed horse, SNOW IN SEATTLE, and the second placed horse, LAST GIRL STANDING, on the grounds of interference in the concluding stages. The Stipendiary Board, after giving regards to the evidence presented by the concerned parties, was of the opinion that this incident had not affected the result of the race and therefore overruled both of the Objections and allowed the Judges result to stand. Trainer Erasmus's deposit was refunded. Apprentice Balloo was charged with a contravention in that he, as the rider of FORT INFINITY, failed to ensure that he did not cause interference to SNOW IN SEATTLE, LAST GIRL STANDING and MINNESOTA leaving the 200m. Apprentice Balloo signed an Admission of Guilt and was suspended from riding in races for a period of seven days. Apprentice Moodley was charged with a contravention in that he, as the rider of WOTTAHOTTIE, failed to ensure that he did not cause interference to SNOW IN SEATTLE, LAST GIRL STANDING, MINNESOTA and FORT INFINITY leaving the 200m. Apprentice Moodley signed an Admission of Guilt and was suspended from riding in races for a period of seven days. Apprentice Bantam reported that OPTICAL ILLUSION did not stride out freely and made an abnormal respiratory noise in running. MUSICAL MAN was hanging out from the 200m. SNOW IN SEATTLE was selected for the taking of specimens for analysis. MUSICAL MAN cast its right front shoe in running. Vet: OPTICAL ILLUSION - not striding out both front and no abnormal respiratory noise detected post race. AMBER FLASH - abnormal respiratory noise. Scratched: JIM CABLES - injured in stalls. DRAGON'S BREATH and PIED PIPERESS - under veterinary treatment. ROCK ON REBEL - change of ownership. The course farrier on duty did not report there to be anything amiss with the shoes fitted to the horses that raced at today's race meeting. The passports of all the runners that raced at today's race meeting were checked and their identities, AHS and Equine Influenza vaccinations confirmed.
