ICED TEA WAS STUBBORN LOADING WHICH CAUSED A DELAY TO THE START OF THIS RACE. THE STARTER REPORTED: a) AFLAME (M Yeni) and ROCCO'S MAMMA (*J Gates) were slow into stride. b) ICED TEA (*J R Syster) was stubborn loading and thereafter stood losing many lengths. The Starting Stall Certificate for this filly has been withdrawn. THE STIPENDIARY STEWARDS REPORTED: a) In view of the Starter's report with regard to ICED TEA, this filly has been suspended in terms of Rule 61.6.10 for a period of 7 days and until such time as she proves tractable loading and jumping on terms with a companion. Suspension dates: 27 September 2020 to 3 October 2020. ICED TEA may not be presented for repassing during this period. Trainer D N Stenger advised (GT). b) Jockey M Yeni reported that he felt something amiss with AFLAME in running. The Veterinary Surgeon was requested to examine this filly. c) SENESCENCE (G Lerena) hung in and PEARL DANCER hung out from the 200m. d) BURNT JASPER (*L J Ferraris), the winner, was selected for the taking of specimens for analysis.
