CHAPATI lost one length. A race review was called into the start of this Race and it was established that the left hand side front gate of QUEBEC QUEEN in stall gate 1 had bounced back significantly after the start was effected, making contact with this filly's shoulder. The Stipendiary Board deemed that QUEBEC QUEEN had been impeded by the front gates not opening properly, and had not been afforded a fair start therefore declared her a non-runner. Shortly after the start, CHAPATI was bumped by NEW RANGE, which jumped out. BARBIE DOLL shifted out away from the crop from the 200m. BARBIE DOLL was selected for the taking of specimens for analysis. Vet: NEW RANGE - abnormal respiratory noise. Scratched: QUEBEC QUEEN - declared a non-runner.
