VUL INDLELA was slow into stride. I AM TITANIUM jumped awkwardly leaving the stalls. I AM TITANIUM was hanging out on the turn. On two separate occasions ,between the 400m and the 300m, HOT TALENT was carried in by PILGRIM'S PROGRESS, which was hanging in. A race review was called by a member of the Stipendiary Board into this incident. However, after viewing the patrol films of the race, the Board was satisfied that the incident had not affected the result of the race and took no further action. Apprentice Hewitson appeared before the Board, was shown the patrol films of the race and advised to take more care when shifting ground in future. Jockey Lerena, the rider of HOT TALENT, lost his left side rein in the concluding stages. PILGRIM'S PROGRESS was selected for the taking of specimens for analysis. I AM TITANIUM raced equipped with alumites in front and unshod behind.
