THE STARTER REPORTED: a) Fair start for all runners. THE STIPENDIARY STEWARDS REPORTED : a) Jockey D De Gouveia reported that he felt something amiss with FOREST JUMP (13.50 lengths) in the running. The Veterinary Surgeon was requested to examine. b) In view of the performance of QUICK STAR (A Marcus) (7.55 lengths, 47/20 in the betting) the Veterinary Surgeon was requested to examine. Trainer M Odendaal was advised to report back to the Stipendiary Board on the condition of this gelding on return to the stables. c) In view of the Veterinary Surgeon's report concerning FOREST JUMP, and in terms of Rule 93.1, this gelding is suspended for 60 days from racing in any race under the jurisdiction of the National Horseracing Authority. Trainer D Moore was advised. (Suspension Dates : 28.09.2020 to the 26.11.2020, bdi) d) ADMIRAL'S GUEST (A Arries), the winner, was selected for the taking of specimens for analysis. Trainer M Dixon advised (DA). JOCKEY / EQUIPMENT CHANGES : a) QUICK STAR raced without blinkers (advised 26.09.20/11h53). RACE CARD CHANGES / OTHER : a) Nil. THE VETERINARY SURGEON REPORTED : a) FOREST JUMP : Epistaxis. 60 days suspension. b) QUICK STAR : Nothing obvious detected. c) ADMIRAL'S GUEST : Cut into left hind. SCRATCHINGS : a) TWO OF US : Injured right fore fetlock (Trainer - 25.09.20/10h24). Rule 53.5 applies.
