THE SLADE was restless in the stalls and as the start was effected reared, which resulted in the Handler being slow to release this gelding and Jockey Delpech being unseated leaving the stalls. THE GREAT ONE (NZ) was selected for the taking of specimens for analysis. A race review was called regarding the start of this race and after reviewing the patrol videos, THE SLADE was deemed to have been impeded by a Handler and was declared a non-runner. In view of the Starter's Report concerning THE SLADE, the starting stall certificate for this gelding was withdrawn until recertified tractable with a companion. GYRE returned post race having cast the right fore shoe. Vet: GONE BABY GONE - cut into right hind. Scratched: ROY'S MAGIC (AUS) and DIAMANTE - Urticaria.
