ADMIRAL'S SWORD was nervous in the stalls. ROMANO was nervous in the stalls and slow into stride. THE COLOUR PURPLE was slow away and lost 1 length. Jockey Mxothwa reported that CEZAR RITZ never raised a gallop. Jockey Webber reported that THE COLOUR PURPLE took no interest in the running. SILVER PALM was hanging inwards in the home straight, which caused VEEIPEE CLUB and CEZAR RITZ to become cramped for galloping room passing the 300 metre mark, thereafter VEEIPEE CLUB shifted outwards and moved CEZAR RITZ and SILVER PALM out to obtain a clear run. VEEIPEE CLUB was selected for the taking of specimens for analysis. Vet: CEZAR RITZ and IRISH BRAVE - coughed post race. SILVER PALM - blood in mouth. THE COLOUR PURPLE - checked post race, nothing obvious detected.
