PHIL'S POWER reared in the stalls. This gelding was inspected by the Veterinary Surgeon, declared fit to race and reloaded. This caused a delay to the start of this Race. RIVER RAFTER was slow, losing 3 lengths. Trainer Lensley was advised to re-school this colt prior to its next engagement. MIESQUE'S SPEED refused to jump when the start was effected. The starting stalls certificate for this gelding has been withdrawn. In view of the Starter's report with regard to MIESQUE'S SPEED, this gelding was suspended for a period of 7 days and until such time as it proves tractable loading into the starting stalls. MIESQUE'S SPEED may not be presented for repassing during this period. Apprentice Mjoka reported that he felt something amiss with MIESQUE'S SPEED in running. The saddle on PHIL'S POWER slipped back in running. BLETCHLEY was hanging in, in the concluding stages. TOWN FLYER was selected for the taking of specimens for analysis. IMPERIAL TOPAZ raced equipped with alumites. Vet: MIESQUE'S SPEED - examined post race, nothing obvious detected. PHIL'S POWER - blood in right nostril from hitting head in the stalls. Scratched: MAGIC MAKER - no transport. WARAI - abnormal temperature. SILVER SWIFT - not striding out left front.
