COMAND PERFORMANCE threw his head up as the start was effected losing one length. OPTIMA (AUS) lost one length. STRONG 'N BRAVE was selected for the taking of specimens for analysis. Q BEHIND ME raced wide in the early and middle stages. COMAND PERFORMANCE was hanging in throughout. Passing the 400 metre mark, OLD OAK was hanging out and shifted out slightly. Simultaneously TILL DAWN was hanging in and shifted in despite Jockey Mansour's efforts, carrying JUSTLIKELUKE inwards. This resulted in JUSTLIKELUKE and CHARLOTTE'S PRINCE making contact, becoming cramped for galloping room and having to ease. Jockey Jacobson signed an Admission of Guilt for a Warning for a contravention, in that he failed to ensure that he did not cause interference to CHARLOTTE'S PRINCE and JUSTLIKELUKE at approximately the 400 metre mark. Jockey Godden reported LIONS DEN was changing legs in running. Jockey Marcus reported MIGHTY MERCURY was making an abnormal respiratory noise in running. In view of the performance of OPTIMA (AUS), the Veterinary Surgeon was requested to examine this filly. The Ownership LIONS DEN should read: Messrs D B Samuelson and B Samuelson; and the Colours are: white, dayglo orange chevrons, dayglo orange sleeves, white stars, dayglow orange cap, white stars. The Medical Officer reported Jockey Wright stood down after the running of this Race due to gastroenteritis/dehydration. Vet: LIONS DEN - nothing obvious detected. MIGHTY MERCURY - abnormal respiratory noise. OPTIMA (AUS) - not striding out right fore. Scratched: SEVEREND - no transport.
