JET EXPLORER was slow in stride. DYNAMIC was slow away and lost 1 length. EN GEE OH compounded over the final 200 metres. The Course Veterinary Surgeon was requested to examine and nothing obvious was detected. Trainer Smith was requested to monitor EN GEE OH over the next 48 hours and report back to the Stipendiary Board. STORY OF MY LIFE was hanging inward and shifted inward passing the 400 metre mark, carried ETERNAL JET inward, which resulted in SCENT becoming cramped for galloping room and forced to ease between ETERNAL JET and INVITING LILY. Thereafter STORY OF MY LIFE continued in and carried INVITING LILY inward approaching the 200 metre mark where SEVEN SINGLE was steadied between INVITING LILY and JET EXPLORER. A race review was called by the Stipendiary Board into the closing stages, after reviewing the patrol films and hearing from the concerned parties, no further action was taken. Apprentice Tarentaal signed an Admission of Guilt for the contravention in that he failed to ensure that he did not cause interference to ETERNAL JET and SCENT passing the 400 metre mark and INVITING LILY and SEVEN SINGLE passing the 200 metre mark whilst riding STORY OF MY LIFE. He was suspended from riding in races for a period of 7 days. ETERNAL JET was selected for the taking of specimens for analysis. Vet: EN GEE ON - checked post race, nothing obvious detected.
