SYLVAN ON FIRE was slow into stride. Jockey de Melo reported that SNOW PATH choked up and made an abnormal respiratory noise in running. Jockey Mansour reported that ELUSIVE STRIKE made an abnormal respiratory noise in running. JET START over-raced in the early stages, raced wide into the straight and had nothing to come in the finish. Thereafter, Jockey Thackeray reported that he felt something amiss with this filly, the Veterinary Surgeon was requested to examine. SYLVAN ON FIRE was selected for the taking of specimens for analysis. ATOMIC BELLE raced with a tongue tie on. Vet: ELUSIVE STRIKE - abnormal respiratory noise. JET START - not striding out left front. SNOW PATH - no respiratory noise detected post-race.
