Jockey Lerena did not ride at today's meeting (medically indisposed - stood down 9.8.201). SIR BERNADINI (AUS) was presented before the 1st Race for recertification after the starting stall certificate had been withdrawn on the 18.6.2017. This gelding was re-passed tractable. Specimen taken from analysis. The Medical Officer Reported that Jockey Delpech was declared fit to ride today - stood down 13.8.2017. LUPO, GREENLIGHT GATSBY and LUCARA were slow into stride. LA SCALA lost 1 length. LUPO was selected for the taking of specimens for analysis. BARBARELLA NIGHTS was hanging in over the final 800 metres. WORLD DREAMER (AUS) was hanging out in the closing stages. Approaching the 200 metre mark, MARCH PREVIEW shifted out slightly resulting in LUCARA being cramped and eased. Jockey Mgudlwa, the rider of MARCH PREVIEW, appeared before the Board with regard to this incident and was advised to take measures to ensure that his mounts do not shifted ground in races in future. Vet: MIGHTY MERCURY - abnormal respiratory noise. LUCARA - moderate post race distress. HERO'S WELCOME - coughing post race.
