During the loading process, EMMA KALEMA injured itself and was withdrawn by the Course Veterinary Surgeon. Thereafter BANANA REPUBLIC refused to load and was withdrawn by the Starter. These incidents caused a delay to the start of this Race. The Starting Stall Certificates for BANANA REPUBLIC and EMMA KALEMA were withdrawn. VIVA ESPANA reared in the stalls. The Starting Stall Certificate for this filly has been withdrawn. CANDELA was slow into stride. The Stipendiary Board called a race review into the start of this race with regard to VIVA ESPANA in stall gate 10 and established that this filly had reared in the starting stalls and was retrained as the start was effected by the handler allocated to her. The Board acting ruled that this filly had been impeded by the handler and was therefore declared a non-runner. Jockey Mansour reported that ILHA DA VAR injured itself in the starting stalls. In view of the performance of ALL EYES ON YOU, the Veterinary Surgeon was requested to examine. In view of the Starter's report with regard to BANANA REPUBLIC, this filly was suspended for a period of 7 days and until such time as she proves tractable loading into the starting stalls. BANANA REPUBLIC may not be presented for repassing during this period. In view of the Starter's report with regard to EMMA KALEMA, this filly was suspended for a period of 7 days and until such time as she proves tractable in the starting stalls. EMMA KALEMA may not be presented for repassing during this period. In view of the Starter's report with regard to VIVA ESPANA, this filly was suspended for a period of 7 days and until re-passed tractable with a companion on a raceday. VIVA ESPANA may not be presented for repassing during this period. MELINDA'S GARDEN was selected for the taking of specimens for analysis. VIVA ESPANA raced with a tongue tie on. NO MATTER raced equipped with alumites in front and unshod behind. Vet: ALL EYES ON YOU - not striding out right front. ILHA DA VAR - abrasions above left eye and blood in left nostril from hitting head in stalls. MELINDA'S GARDEN - abnormal respiratory noise. NO MATTER - coughing. Scratched: AMAJORY - no valid starting stall certificate. EMMA KALEMA - injured in stalls. BANANA REPUBLIC - intractable. ESPLORATORE - viral infection. VIVA ESPANA - declared a non-runner.
