SACRED TOUCH cast the left fore shoe on the way to the start, which the farrier replaced. FLIGHTY CHESTNUT jumped awkwardly losing one length and thereafter was slow into stride. STARBOY was restless in the stalls, jumped awkwardly losing one length and thereafter was slow into stride. In view of the report from the Starter regarding STARBOY, Trainer Stewart will be advised to have this colt re-schooled before its next engagement. Jockey Cele, the rider of DAYONAUT, was charged with a contravention, read with Guideline 3 and C on the use of the crop, in that he used his crop more than three times on consecutive strides behind and forward of the saddle in the concluding stages whilst riding DAYONAUT. Jockey Cele signed an Admission of Guilt and was fined. HEMMINGWAY was selected for the taking of specimens for analysis.
