NTOMA was restless in the stalls. Trainer Harris was advised to re-school this mare prior to its next engagement. Jockey Strydom reported that LADY NEGRA never travelled well and commenced to give ground to the field from the 400m and thereafter took no interest in running. Trainer Azzie was requested to report back on the condition of LADY NEGRA on return to the stables. CLARET CUP was selected for the taking of specimens for analysis.
