MONCOEURENSUCRE jumped out. DEVIOUS TIGER jumped in. Jockey Fortune reported that ZELIG did not stride out freely in running. Jockey Yeni reported that he felt something amiss with SHEPHERDS PURSE in running and he did not persevere with his ride from the 200m. Shortly after the start, DOWNTOWN DANZA and RICH APPROVAL were awkwardly placed between MONCOEURENSUCRE, which jumped out, and DEVIOUS TIGER, which jumped in. At approximately the 1000m, AUTUMN ENCORE was awkwardly placed between TRIUMVIRATE and DEVIOUS TIGER, which rolled in marginally. TAYAAR was selected for the taking of specimens for analysis. MONCOEURENSUCRE and DEVIOUS TIGER raced equipped with alumites in front, unshod behind. Vet: ZELIG - not striding out left front. DEVIOUS TIGER - coughing. KLONDIKE RIVER - coughing. SHEPHERDS PURSE - not striding out left front. The course farrier on duty did not report there to be anything amiss with the shoes fitted to the horses that raced at today's race meeting. The passports of all the runners that raced at today's race meeting were checked and their identities, AHS and Equine Influenza vaccinations confirmed.
