KING'S WAGER broke through the front of the starting stall and had to be re-loaded. This gelding's Starting Stalls Certificate has been withdrawn and is to be recertified Tractable prior to being nominated to race again. Jockey Herholdt reported that SAIL FROM SIBAYA was hanging strides throughout. Trainer Penny Fisher was brought before the Stipendiary Board and was questioned as to the improved running of the winner, KING's WAGER. Trainer Fisher advised the Board that this gelding had had a seven week break and came back and obviously enjoyed racing fresh. Trainer Fisher was reminded of the rule pertaining to inconsistent running, and her explanation has been noted. KING'S WAGER was selected for the taking of specimens for analysis. EUROZONE raced in steels. Vet: SAIL FROM SIBAYA - was trotted up post race and was slightly sore on right front. Scratched: LADY CARINA - card scratching.
