ENTICER was hanging in from the 500m and Jockey Yeni reported that the saddle on ENTICER slipped back in running which precluded him from riding his horse out to the finish. Jockey Yeni appeared before the Board and was shown the patrol films of the race. It was established that Jockey Yeni's saddle had slipped back in running, therefore the Stewards afforded Jockey Yeni the benefit of the doubt on this occasion. He was however advised that in future, he must inform a licensed official of similar concerns so that his equipment can be inspected prior to his dismounting CARAMITO was selected for the taking of specimens for analysis. DUKES IDOL raced equipped with alumites in front and unshod behind.
