SINGASWEWIN kicked the back gates of the stalls and as result was taken out and reloaded later. Jockey Thackeray reported that AMBER FLASH made an abnormal respiratory noise in running. Jockey Munger reported that SINGASWEWIN did not stride out freely in running. Jockey Khan, the rider of THE SHREDDER, appeared before the Board, was shown the patrol film of the race and advised against the practice of using the crop in a drawn position forward of the saddle. Leaving the 200m, CANNES had to steady momentarily when awkwardly placed between WOTTAHOTTIE, which was hanging out, and QUATTRO, which was hanging in from the 300m. FLAG OF FRANCE was baulked for a clear run in the concluding stages. DRAGOON was selected for the taking of specimens for analysis. Trainer Binda was questioned regarding the improved performance of DRAGOON. He could offer the Board no suitable explanation. His attention was drawn to the Rules pertaining to In and Out Running. MINNESOTA carried 58kg and has a Merit Rating of 62. Vet: AMBER FLASH - abnormal respiratory noise. SINGASWEWIN - abrasions left hind hock from kicking in the stalls. Scratched: THEWAYWEMAKEM - insufficient recovery time. The course farrier on duty did not report there to be anything amiss with the shoes fitted to the horses that raced at today's race meeting. The passports of all the runners that raced at today's race meeting were checked and their identities, AHS and Equine Influenza vaccinations confirmed.
