OPEN ROAD was loaded into the stalls and bumped the front gate. This filly was subsequently taken out the stalls, inspected by the Veterinary Surgeon, declared fit to race and reloaded. RIVER RUN lost 1 length. Leaving the 1200m, LEGEND SEEKER had to steady momentarily when awkwardly placed on the heels of SHINE BRIGHT. OPEN ROAD was selected for the taking of specimens for analysis. VIP raced equipped with cheek pieces. The course farrier on duty did not report there to be anything amiss with the shoes fitted to the horses that raced at today's race meeting. The passports of all the runners that raced at today's race meeting were checked and their identities, AHS and Equine Influenza vaccinations confirmed.
