THE STARTER REPORTED:
a) GALWAY GIRL (A Arries) was stubborn to load. Assistant Trainer C Eudey acting on behalf of Trainer M Miller was advised to re-school this filly.
THE STIPENDIARY STEWARDS REPORTED :
a) MRS HOTLINE (D Dillon) shifted both ways away from the crop in the concluding stages.
b) In view of the performance of ZAGARA (A Marcus) (18.00 lengths, 16/10 in the betting) the Veterinary Surgeon was requested to examine. Trainer D Bosch was advised to report back to the Stipendiary Board on the condition of this mare on return to stables.
c) Assistant Trainer P Muscutt acting on behalf of Mr B Crawford appeared before the Board and was questioned with regard to the improved performance of MRS HOTLINE, compared to this filly's previous run on the 16 September 2020. In this regard, he explained that, this filly's run on the 16 September 2020 was the first run for the stable, in that run it had raced fresh, over-raced in the race and had nothing to come in the finish. Mr Muscutt was of the opinion that with today's run being the second run for the stable, this filly was better settled and accordingly returned to its previous consistent form. The Board noted Mr Muscutt's explanation which was corroborated by the form of this filly.
d) MRS HOTLINE (D Dillon), the winner, was selected for the taking of specimens for analysis. Assistant Trainer P Muscutt acting on behalf of Trainer B Crawford advised (TN).
JOCKEY / EQUIPMENT CHANGES :
a) RUBY SLIPPERS raced with a tongue tie (advised 02.10.20/10h02).
