Jockey Mariba (family responsibility) and Jockey Penny (medically indisposed) did not ride at today's racemeeting. They were replaced on their mounts. AFROGATTO, AMANIKA and BEACH BABY were slow into stride. COLOMBINA jumped inwards leaving the stalls. The saddle on FLY NORTH slipped back in running. Jockey Marwing, the rider of WHITEOUT, accidentally dropped his crop at the 500m. WITCH OF THE WEST switched out to continue its run in the concluding stages. DISTANT CALL and AMANIKA were selected for the taking of specimens for analysis. Jockey Khan, the rider of CLUB WORLD, appeared before the Board, was shown the patrol film of the race and was cautioned against using his crop whilst out of contention for a placing. In deciding what action to take against Jockey Khan, the Board considered his non-history regarding contraventions of this rule. Vet: FLY NORTH - abnormal respiratory noise.
