ROCKETEER jumped awkwardly inwards and made contact with PHELAN LUCKY (AUS) , which was slow losing one length and thereafter was slow into stride. CAPTAINOFMYHEART jumped awkwardly losing one length and thereafter was slow into stride. Jockey Orffer reported that NASTY HARRY did not stride out freely in running. The Veterinary Surgeon was requested to examine the gelding on its return to the unsaddling enclosure and submit a report. Assistant Trainer Donnelly, acting on behalf of Trainer Crawford, was requested to report back on the gelding's condition on its return to the stables. ZEB was selected for the taking of specimens for analysis. Vet: NASTY HARRY - inspected post race and no obvious abnormalities were detected. CAPTAINOFMYHEART - returned cut on the left hind. ZEB - returned with a mouth injury. Scratched: APOLLO STAR - pharyngitis. The course farrier on duty did not report there to be anything amiss with the shoes fitted to the horses that raced at today's race meeting. The passports of all the runners that raced at today's race meeting were checked, identities, AHS and Equine Influenza vaccinations confirmed, as per normal procedure. Several Jockeys and Apprentice were selected for the taking of breathalyser tests and urine samples for analysis.
