MR LOVER BOY jumped awkwardly losing one length and thereafter was slow into stride. At about the 250m, PERGOLA, which was hanging out and proved difficult to assist shifted out and bumped SAVUTI. At about the 350m, KING OF ACES had to ease off the heels of CREAM SODA GREEN when carried in slightly by BEN-HUR. NORDIC CHANT was selected for the taking of specimens for analysis. Vet: LEAGUE GAME - inspected post race and no obvious abnormalities were detected. Scratched: SIBERIAN HUSKY - mild urticaria. In view of this gelding's recent history with regard to urticaria, monitored and evaluated by Dr E Reynders, the suspension has been lifted by Dr E Reynders. GADGET MAN - lame on the left fore. The course farrier on duty did not report there to be anything amiss with the shoes fitted to the horses that raced at today's race meeting. The passports of all the runners that raced at today's race meeting were checked, identities, AHS and Equine Influenza vaccinations confirmed, as per normal procedure.
