The start of this Race was delayed/rescheduled at the request of the Operator. LAST CHIRP was restless in the stalls. Jockey Zechner reported that LADY STARLETT did not stride out freely in running. In view of the performance from SIMPLY ROYAL, the Veterinary Surgeon was requested to examine this filly. Trainer Tarry was requested to report back on the condition of SIMPLY ROYAL on return to the stables. Jockey Khumalo reported that he felt something amiss with SWIFT SARAH in running. MY FRIEND LEE and OLD EM were selected for the taking of specimens for analysis. Vet: LADY STARLETT - not striding out right front. SIMPLY ROYAL - examined post race, no significant findings. SWIFT SARAH - not striding out left front. EMBRASIATIC (ARG) - speedy cut left front.
