PADDINGTON kicked in the stalls. CARDIFF CASTLE (AUS) stood losing five lengths and thereafter was slow into stride. SOARING PAST jumped inwards and carried BLIND SPOT and BLUE DOOR inwards, and squeezed out OMAHA TRIBE. In view of the report from the Starter concerning CARDIFF CASTLE (AUS), and in view of this gelding's lack of starting stall history, Trainer Ramsden will be advised to have this gelding re-schooled prior to its next engagement. Leaving the false rail PADDINGTON, which attempted a run down the inside running rail, became cramped for galloping room on the inside of BLIND SPOT, and was forced to ease when BLIND SPOT shifted in slightly shortly after the 400m. Jockey Zackey, the rider of BLIND SPOT, appeared before the Board and was advised to exercise more care before shifting ground in future. SOARING PAST over-raced in the early stages and thereafter was hanging in throughout. BLUE DOOR was selected for the taking of specimens for analysis.
