PRANCING was slow losing one length and thereafter was slow into stride. Jockey Africa reported that WHISPERING LIGHT coughed post race. ROCK ON WOOD eased off the heels of LIBRA approaching the 1400m and then commenced to over-race. LEAVES OF GRASS (AUS), which over-raced, shifted out and carried FRESNAYE and AHOY ME MATEY outwards momentarily at the 1400m. WHISPERING LIGHT steadied off the heels of FRESNAYE, which switched out to continue his run at the 400m. LIBRA was hanging out in the straight. Jockey May, the rider of LIBRA, was charged with a contravention, in that he failed to maintain a reasonable pace in the early stages. Jockey May signed an Admission of Guilt for the penalty of a Warning. RED GINGER was selected for the taking of specimens for analysis. Vet: WHISPERING LIGHT - returned coughing.
