The start of this Race was delayed due to ARCTIC BLAST, CAPTAINOFMYHEART and ORIENTAL TIGER being stubborn and difficult to load. Wi regard to the Starter's report concerning ARCTIC BLAST and CAPTAINOFMYHEART, Trainer Laing and Stable Employee Mitchley respectively were advised to re-school these geldings in the starting stalls prior to racing again. LE GRAND ROUGE was nervous in the stalls. BAGGER VANCE kicked the back gates, stumbled, was slow away and lost 1 length. The start of this Race was delayed due to ARCTIC BLAST, CAPTAINOFMYHEART and ORIENTAL TIGER being stubborn and difficult to load. CAPTAINOFMYHEART was reluctant to proceed to the start and had to be led. Stable Employee Mitchley was advised to re-school this gelding prior to racing again. PACIFIC SPIRIT over-raced in the early stages. Approximately at the 150 metre mark, ORIENTAL TIGER had to ease when awkwardly placed between BAGGER VANCE and LORD WINDERMERE, which shifted both ways from the crop. An Inquiry will be opened into this incident. Jockey Maujean reported that he felt something amiss with KIMBERLEY CLUB (AUS) in the running. Jockey Zackey reported that RAHVAR was not striding out freely in the running. Jockey Murray reported that ARCTIC BLAST was not striding out freely in the running. CAPTAINOFMYHEART and PACIFIC SPIRIT were selected for the taking of specimens for analysis. Vet: KIMBERLEY CLUB (AUS) - not striding out behind. RAHVAR - not striding out in front. ARCTIC BLAST - not striding out, speedy cut right front, coughed post race. PACIFIC SPIRIT - speedy cut left hind, coughed post race, Bilateral Epistaxis, 60 day suspension.
