In view of the performances from THE WIDOW'S CLUB and SEXY ED, the Veterinary Surgeon was requested to examine the fillies on their return to the unsaddling enclosure and submit a report. SILVER STREAMER had to steady when cramped for galloping room on the inside running rail at the 1200m. TALLY-HO had to switch out away from a tiring SEXY ED at the 600m, STAR EVOLUTION switched in sharply at the 500m and thereafter had to steady off the heels TRAVEL IN STYLE, which rolled in at the 200m. ROMANTIC CRUSADE was hanging in, in the latter stages. ROMANTIC CRUSADE was selected for the taking of specimens for analysis. Jockey Veale rode TALLY-HO. Stewards permission and the mutual agreement of all the connections due to flight complications. The Ownership of KANISHIWA should read: Messrs K Kotzen & T Muthusamy and Mrs R Leheup. Colours unchanged. Vet: THE WIDOW'S CLUB - returned cut on the left hind. SEXY ED - returned making an abnormal respiratory noise. The course farrier on duty did not report there to be anything amiss with the shoes fitted to the horses that raced at today's race meeting. The passports of all the runners that raced at today's race meeting were checked, identities, AHS and Equine Influenza vaccinations confirmed, as per normal procedure.
