HONEY SUITE was carried out by OVER AGAIN in the closing stages. Jockey Orffer lodged an Objection on the grounds of interference and intimidation in the latter stages. After reviewing the patrol films and having regard to the evidence from all the parties and the distance between the winner and second placed horse, 0.20 lengths, the Board was satisfied that HONEY SUITE would not have finished in front of OVER AGAIN, therefore the Objection was overruled and the deposit was refunded. An Objection was lodged by the Clerk of Scales in that Jockey Domeyer, the rider of SASSY LADY, declared 5th placed horse, weighed in more than 0.50kg below the weight at which he weighed out. After hearing the evidence from the Clerk of Scales and Jockey Domeyer the Objection was upheld and SASSY LADY was disqualified. In Inquiry will be held into this incident. OVER AGAIN was selected for the taking of specimens for analysis. HONEY SUITE raced fitted with ear muffs. Vet: SASSY LADY - returned with a cut on the left hind hip. Scratched: STATE BALLET - lame on the right fore and was withdrawn by the Veterinary Surgeon at the start.
