INTERGALACTIC was slow into stride. WIND CHILL was slow, losing 1 length. At approximately the 350m, PEGGY JAY had to ease off the heels of FORT EMBER, which shifted in. Jockey Lerena signed an Admission of Guilt for a contravention in that he, as the rider of FORT EMBER, failed to ensure that he did not cause interference to PEGGY JAY at approximately the 350m. He was suspended from riding in races for a period of seven days. At approximately the 200m, KILAUEA was bumped in by FORT EMBER, which shifted in away from the crop. TAHINI took an awkward stride in the concluding stages. KILAUEA was selected for the taking of specimens for analysis. Jockey de Melo replaced Jockey Delpech on WIND CHILL.
