BON BON began awkwardly losing one length and thereafter was slow into stride. ONTENDERHOOKS was slow losing one length and thereafter was slow into stride. BRAVE MOVE and MIDNIGHT MOONLIGHT were tightened for galloping room when WANING CRESCENT shifted in slightly shortly after the start. Jockey Behr, the rider of WANING CRESCENT, was charged with a contravention in that he failed to ensure that he did not cause bunching to runners on his inside shortly after the start. Jockey Behr signed an Admission of Guilt for the penalty of a Warning. In view of the performances from BON BON and ROYAL FLEECE, the Veterinary Surgeon was requested to examine the fillies on their return to the unsaddling enclosure and submit a report. MIDNIGHT MOONLIGHT was selected for the taking of specimens for analysis. BARONESS MARY raced fitted with ear muffs. Vet: BON BON - returned not striding out behind. ROYAL FLEECE - inspected post race and no significant findings were detected.
