Apprentice Moodley has ridden his 40th winner and will now claim a 1.5kg allowance from today's race meeting. SLIGHTLY SCOTTISH was presented with a companion prior to the 1st Race after being suspended indefinitely on the 22,10,2017 for proving troublesome proceeding to the start. The suspension was lifted after this gelding proceeded to the start to the satisfaction of the Stipendiary Board. HIGH GREEN, CRUSADO and RICKY BOBBY were slow into stride. CODE OF VALUES lost 1 length. CELTIC SUNRISE was restless in the stalls. CRUSADO was selected for the taking of specimens for analysis. HIGH GREEN and ROCKHAMPTOM ROCKET raced green. TURF CONQUEROR was hanging in, shifted in slightly carrying a tiring BLUEMOONRISING inwards passing the 300 metre mark. In view of the performance of BLUEMOONRISING, the Veterinary Surgeon was requested to examine this gelding. CELTIC SUNRISE is a gelding and not a colt as carded. Vet: BLUEMOONRISING - nothing obvious detected. Scratched: VISION OF TRUST - injured, lacerations after fall. KING'S COMMAND - not eating up. VIA VERDE - abscess right hind.
