RUSTAR DHOW, which was restless in the stalls, threw her head up as the start was effected and jumped awkwardly losing two lengths and thereafter was slow into stride. In view of the performance from RUSTAR DHOW, the Veterinary Surgeon was requested to examine the filly on her return to the unsaddling enclosure and submit a report. SUNSHINE LADY was selected for the taking of specimens for analysis. Vet: RUSTAR DHOW - returned with blood in the mouth and not striding out. Scratched: PINT POT - no jockey available at the carded weight. The course farrier on duty did not report there to be anything amiss with the shoes fitted to the horses that raced at today's race meeting. The passports of all the runners that raced at today's race meeting were checked, identities, AHS and Equine Influenza vaccinations confirmed, as per normal procedure. Several Jockeys were selected for the taking of breathalyser tests and urine samples for analysis.
