KINGVOLDT was nervous and reared in the stalls. RAHVAR was slow into stride. Apprentice Hewitson reported that GIMME THE STARS was not striding out freely in the running. Jockey Cheyne reported that he felt something amiss with CHINA EXPRESS passing the 500 metre mark and pulled his mount up at the 400 metre mark and dismounted. RAHVAR shifted inward passing the 200 metre mark, made contact with FREDERICK FOX, who in turn made contact with IMPERIAL GUARD thereafter RAHVAR made contact with FREDERICK FOX approaching the 150 metre mark. The Stipendiary Board called for race review into this incident and the rider of FREDERICK FOX placed 3rd lodged an Objection against the second placed horse RAHVAR on the grounds of interference over final 200 metres. After reviewing the patrol films and hearing evidence from the parties concerned the Board over-ruled the Objection and left the Judges' placing to stand. The Objection fee was refunded. Jockey Zackey signed an Admission of Guilt for the contravention in that he failed to ensure he did not cause interference to FREDERICK FOX approaching the 150 metre mark whilst riding RAHVAR. He was given a Warning. KINGVOLDT was selected for the taking of specimens for analysis. Vet: GIMME THE STARS - not striding out in front. CHINA EXPRESS - Bilateral Epistaxis, 60 day suspension.
