Jockey Pheiffer did not ride at today's racemeeting (injured wrist). He was replaced on his mounts. FLYING RUSSIAN refused to load. This caused a delay to the start of this Race. The Starting Stall Certificate for this gelding has been withdrawn. COLONEL BOGEY and RODEO JOE lost one length. In view of the Starter's report with regard to FLYING RUSSIAN, this gelding was suspended until such time as it proves tractable loading three times consecutively, successfully on three separate race days with a companion. LEVENDI shifted both ways away from the crop from the 400m. STARINA was hanging in from the 300m. In the concluding stages, RODEO JOE was carried out by KING OF THE BAY, which shifted out away from the crop. Workrider Mlangeni appeared before the Board, was shown the patrol films of the race and was advised to take more care when shifting ground in races. WITCH KING was selected for the taking of specimens for analysis. Workrider Sithole was charged with a contravention in that he failed to weigh out at the correct carded weight on the horse RODEO JOE, or at the higher weight confirmed in his engagement with the Trainer. Workrider Sithole signed an Admission of Guilt and was suspended from riding in one Workrider race. FLYING RUSSIN was ridden by Workrider Baase. WORKRIDER CHANGE TO BE INVESTIGATED. WITCH KING raced equipped with alumites in front and unshod behind. Workrider Dadamasi, the rider of LEVENDI, weighed out at 59,9kg, 1,5kg over the carded weight. Permission was granted in terms for the overweight to be carried as there were no other Workriders available. This matter will be investigated. GO THULI GO raced with a tongue tie on. Vet: MENDOZA STRIKE - abnormal respiratory noise. Scratched: FLYING RUSSIAN - intractable.
