The start of this Race was delayed at the request of the Racing Operator. THE STARTER REPORTED: a) KING OF THE RING (A Arries) was stubborn to load. THE STIPENDIARY STEWARDS REPORTED : a) In view of the performances of AL MADINAH (*J Gates) (40.55 lengths) and REFINERY (E Ngwane) (25.65 lengths) the Veterinary Surgeon was requested to examine. b) Jockey M Yeni reported that he felt something amiss with CHAMPINGATTHEBIT (22.85 lengths) in the running. The Veterinary Surgeon was requested to examine. c) An Inquiry will be opened into Jockey W Kennedy's crop use on JACKINAPOT in this Race. d) MAGARI (*K Strydom), the winner, was selected for the taking of specimens for analysis.
