THE STARTER REPORTED: a) FRENCH LEAVE (*J R Syster) and NITZRAM (*N Klink) were slow losing one length. b) CAPPELLA MAGNA (W Kennedy) stood losing many lengths. The starting stall certificate for this colt has been withdrawn. Trainer S J Gray was advised (GT). THE STIPENDIARY STEWARDS REPORTED: a) RATION MY PASSION (NZ) (D Schwarz) hung in from the 500m. b) KINGS CUP (*C F Dicken) took an awkward stride at the 200m. c) Jockey W Kennedy reported CAPPELLA MAGNA took no interest in running. The Veterinary Surgeon was requested to examine this colt. d) Apprentice J R Syster reported he felt something amiss with FRENCH LEAVE in running. The Veterinary Surgeon was requested to examine this gelding. e) Apprentice L J Ferraris reported SUN GIANT did not stride out freely in running. The Veterinary Surgeon was requested to examine this gelding. f) Jockey M Mjoka reported ILLUMINATE (6,50 lengths) choked up in the running. The Veterinary Surgeon was requested to examine this mare. g) Apprentice N Klink reported he felt something amiss with NITZRAM in running. The Veterinary Surgeon was requested to examine this gelding. h) LITTLEWOOD (P Strydom), the winner, was selected for the taking of specimens for analysis. Trainer M N Houdalakis advised (LN). i) In view of the Starter's report with regard to CAPPELLA MAGNA, this colt's starting stall certificate has been withdrawn and he is suspended in terms of Rule 61.6.10 for a period of 7 days and until such time as he proves tractable loading with a companion. Suspension dates: 16.10.20 to the 22.10.20. CAPPELLA MAGNA may not be presented for re-passing during this period. Trainer S J Gray was advised. JOCKEY CHANGES: a) GENEROSO was ridden by Jockey C Bantam who weighed out at 52kg, 0,5kg over the carded weight which was declared on 15 October 2020 at 08H08.
