The start of this Race was delayed due to the starting stalls having to be repositioned on the track. Jockey Yeni reported that HYPER JET made an abnormal respiratory noise in running. In view of the performance from NATIONAL HOST, the Veterinary Surgeon was requested to examine this gelding. DECISION TIME was selected for the taking of specimens for analysis. Vet: HYPER JET - no respiratory noise detected post race; not striding out left front. DECISION TIME - abnormal respiratory noise. NATIONAL HOST - examined post race, nothing obvious detected. Scratched: PREMIER SHOW - ineligible, winner 16 November 2017. ABSOLUTE GEM - insufficient recovery time.
