STILL I RISE (AUS) was slow losing one length and thereafter was slow into stride. The saddle on WEDGWOOD slipped back in running. OSTINATO and WHISPERING LIGHT pulled hard in the early stages. SAMSARA was selected for the taking of specimens for analysis. Vet: OSTINATO - returned having lost the left fore shoe. The course farrier on duty did not report there to be anything amiss with the shoes fitted to the horses that raced at today's race meeting. The passports of all the runners that raced at today's race meeting were checked and their identities, AHS and Equine Influenza vaccinations confirmed.
