There was a delay to the start of the 3rd Race as a result of MUSIGNY being caught up in the starting stall and thereafter bolting the course before being taken in hand and thereafter repair work to the damaged starting stall. ALDO'S CHASE was slow into stride. HERO'S WELCOME and BONJOUR BABY lost 1 length. DRAGEDA was selected for the taking of specimens for analysis. Jockey Lerena, the rider of GLOBAL PURSUIT, reported this colt compounded over the final 200 metres. THE BAYOU raced green and was hanging in over the final 200 metres. Apprentice Ferraris, the rider of HERO'S WELCOME, had a satisfactory qualifying ride. In view of the Starter's Report concerning MUSIGNY, the starting stall certificate for this gelding has been withdrawn until recertified tractable on a race day with a companion. Vet: HERO'S WELCOME - not striding out right hind. GLOBAL PURSUIT - nothing obvious detected. Scratched: MUSIGNY - injured in stalls and bolted. Withdrawn by the Veterinary Surgeon.
