ESSENCEOFLIFE cast the left fore shoe on the way to the start, which the farrier replaced. RUSTAR DHOW, which was reluctant to load, jumped awkwardly and was slow into stride. In view of the performance from SALIMAH, the Veterinary Surgeon was requested to examine the filly on her return to the unsaddling enclosure and submit a report. Trainer Drier was requested to report back to the Board on the filly's condition on her return to the stables. At about the 250m, DOUBLE BLACK shifted out and brushed the hindquarters of ESSENCEOFLIFE. Approaching the 100m, DOUBLE BLACK was tightened for galloping room between ESSENCEOFLIFE and OVER AGAIN. WESTON was selected for the taking of specimens for analysis. Vet: SALIMAH - inspected post race and no significant findings were detected.
